Life story Mr. Thomas G. Shepherd, age 58, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. He was born on June 5, 1951 in Prestonburg, Kentucky. He enjoyed fishing and Bingo. Survivors include two daughters: Melissa Wiscaver of Madison, and Amanda Felter of Hanover; one brother, Ed Shepherd of Madison; one sister, Denise Seelmaer of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; a step-son, Danny Giltner; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Shepherd Kirkendoll; a step-son, Danny Giltner; and one brother, Larry Kirkendoll. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Springdale Cemetery. Friends and family may call at Lytle Funeral Chapel from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Thomas Shepherd Memorial Fund.
