Life story Timothy Ray "Timmy Ray" Voris, age 56, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. He was born on December 6, 1958 in Madison, the son of James Penn and Evelyn (Humphrey) Voris. Mr. Voris was a 1977 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and had lived most of his life in the Jefferson County area. He previously worked as a courier for River Valley Financial Bank, and for Indiana Mentor, the former Dave's Sureway and U.S. Shoe Corporation, all in Madison. He enjoyed collecting vintage vinyl records and 8-track tapes. Survivors include one sister, Jane Turner and her husband, Tom of Madison; four brothers: Ray Voris and his wife, Ramona, Jim Voris and his wife, Lillian, Manuel Voris, and Bill Voris and his wife, Chasity, all of Madison; his best friends, David Reffett of Lexington and Jerry and Henrietta Faris of Hanover; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charlie Voris in 1991, and one nephew, Derrick Turner in 2009. The Reverend Ron Lee will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 PM Friday, March 20 and from 10 to 11 AM Saturday.
