Life story Tony Wayne Eden, age 50, of Hanover, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at his residence. Born September 10, 1959 in Madison, he was the son of Thomas C., Jr. and Betty Jean Smith Eden. Mr. Eden was a self-employed painting contractor, having owned and operated the Eden Painting Company from 1998 until 2005. He enjoyed fishing, boating, restoration of vehicles and furniture, and loved to be with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, the former Carolyn Cooper, to whom he was married on June 15, 1990 in Bedford, Kentucky; two daughters: Sara Eden of Madison and Kristy Eden of Dupont, Indiana; two sons: Jason Eden of Dupont and Michael Eden of Hanover; two brothers: Teddy Eden of Madison and Donnie Brison of Jeffersonville, Indiana; eight sisters: Laura Segrest of Madison, Tammie Riddell of Madison, Wanda Finney of Brooksburg, Indiana, Viola Stucker of Silsbe, Texas, Penny Beach of Warsaw, Kentucky, Rosie of Mississippi, Leta Eden of Chelsea, Indiana, and Charla Bear of Madison; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas C. Eden, Jr. in 2003; his mother, Betty Jean Imel in 1989; two brothers: David Stucker in 1977 and Roger Stucker in 2002; and one niece, Shawnta Wynn in 2006. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in the Hibernia Cemetery in Hibernia, Indiana.
