Life story Verna V. Cornett, age 68, of Dupont, Indiana, and daughter of the late Noah and Zola (Tyree) Cornett, was born November 5, 1950, in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Prior to retirement, she was a cook at the Clifty Inn Restaurant. Mrs. Cornett passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana. Her life will be cherished by her son: Tony Banks and his wife, Tammy, of Dupont; her grandchildren, Austin, Cody, Shelby, Katie, and Becky; and eight great grandchildren.
