Virginia L.
Graham
December 14, 1936 – August 3, 2025
Virginia Lee "Jenny" (Bullock) Graham, age 88, of Hanover, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Wesley J. and Goldie B (White) Bullock, was born on December 14, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jenny was a proud former employee of the United States Postal Service as a letter machine operator and later retired after a long career with the Madison State Hospital in their food service department. In 1979 she began a relationship with Phillip Steven Graham and on August 12, 1988 they were united in marriage.
Jenny was a simple, yet classic woman, who worked hard and loved to learn. She was an avid gardener and proudly earned a Master Gardener certification through Purdue University in 1996. Jenny also volunteered at the Lanier Mansion as a garden tour guide, wearing a period appropriate costume that was made just for her. She also volunteered at an archeological dig on the grounds of the Lanier Mansion. More than anything, she will be remembered as a down to earth lady who spoke her opinion and gave love to many.
Mrs. Graham passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Her life will be cherished by her husband, Phillip Steven Graham of Hanover; her brother: David Douglas "Bud" Bullock and his wife, Georgia "Jo" Bullock of Florida; her sons: Randy J. Elsbury and his companion, Pat Hammons of Indiana; and George Douglas Elsbury and his wife, Kathy of Kentucky; her grandchildren: Gregory Chatham and his wife, Andrea Vance Chatham, Clayton Elsbury, Ben Elsbury and his wife, Heidi, Jamie Elsbury, and Joanna Turner Sebree and her husband, Chad; many great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Kay Elsbury Turner; her brothers: Wesley Gene Bullock and George Earl Bullock; her sister: Linda Lou Bullock Stoner; her granddaughter, Elaine Rodgers; and her grandson, David Anthony Turner.
