Wanda Corman Kloepfer, age 96, of Madison, Indiana passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025 at The Jewel Place in Madison, where she had been residing for the past five years. Wanda was born on April 28, 1929 in Kent, Indiana, and was the daughter of Elmer and Daisy (Sampson) Corman. Wanda grew up in Kent where she spent many wonderful days with family and friends. It was there that she met a boy named Marvin Kloepfer at a young age. Time went on and Wanda attended Madison High School where she was a cheerleader and was very active in the Kent United Methodist Church. Soon, she would marry the love of her life, Marvin Kloepfer, and they had two daughters, Darlene and Karlene, who meant everything to them. Marvin and Wanda enjoyed watching and helping them grow up to be successful young ladies. Wanda had a great career at the Jefferson Proving Ground where she worked for many years. One of the many things that they enjoyed doing was going out to dinner often with many great friends. At the end of the day, family meant everything to Wanda, and that's why we are all so grateful to have her in our lives. Wanda is preceded in death by her father, Elmer Corman; her mother, Daisy (Sampson) Corman; her brother, William Corman; her husband, Marvin L. Kloepfer; her sisters: Thea Field, Phurdell Field, and Delphia Weatherbee; her son-in-law, Thomas "Bud" Finnegan, III; and her grandson, Kennedy Wells Rucker. She is survived by her two daughters: Sonja Darlene Finnegan of Hanover, Indiana and Kathy Karlene Perry (Max) of Raleigh, North Carolina; four grandchildren: Thomas "Aaron" Finnegan (Michelle) of Madison, Stephanie Ginn (Darin) of Madison, Max Perry III (Nicole) of Raleigh, and Gregory Perry (Jazmin) of Greenville, South Carolina; seven great grandchildren: Makenzie, Madison, Mitchelle, Max IV, Leighton, Karter, and Koko; and two great grandchildren: Adaleigh and Axel. A Celebration of Wanda's life will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 117 Holt Drive, Madison. Private interment will take place in Kent Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Kent Cemetery Association or the American Heart Association. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
