Life story Mr. Waymon H. Ledbetter, age 82, of Commiskey, Indiana passed away Saturday January 30, 2016 in the King's Daughters' Hospital, Madison. He was born March 25, 1933 in Overton County, Tennessee to Harrison and Dona (Alred) Ledbetter. He was the first employee hired in 1956 at the General Motors plant in Marion, Indiana (formerly Fisher Body) where he worked for 35 years. He enjoyed woodworking, watching and feeding birds, mowing grass, gardening, and being with his grandkids. Survivors include his wife, Sandra "Peachi", whom he married October 13, 1956 in Anderson, Indiana; two daughters: Tami Chaney and her husband, Troy of Bunker Hill, Indiana, and Trisha Mounts and her husband, Ron of Sunman, Indiana; two sons: Ken Ledbetter and his wife, Debbie of Converse, Indiana, and Tracy Ledbetter and his wife, Alison of Franklin, Tennessee; one brother, Cecil Ledbetter of Celina, Tennessee; eight granddaughters: Kristina, Brandi, Jackie, Cortney, Cassie, Maddie, Sarah, Livee; one grandson, Johnny; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: Laymon, W.R., Glen, Paul, Willie Roy, and three sisters: Dexter, Odell, and Stella. The Reverend Marvin Wright will conduct funeral services at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Vail Chapel of the Lytle Funeral Homes on Michigan Road. Family and friends may gather from 11:00 AM till 2:00 PM Wednesday February 3, 2016 at the funeral home.
