Life story Mr. William Cleveland Malone Jr., age 64, of Madison, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at his residence in Madison. He was born Friday, February 2, 1951 in Holly Springs, Mississippi, the son of William Cleveland Sr.and Millie Boothe Malone. He retired in 2011 from the maintenance department of the IKE Power Plant. He spent his time working around the house, splitting firewood and watching over his neighborhood. He enjoyed being a grandpa and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a member of the Broadway Baptist Church, and a Mason. Survivors include his son, Michael Malone of Madison; two step daughters: LeAnn Elliott of Madison and Lisa Spaulding of Jeffersonville, Indiana; two step sons: Marcus Stubbins of Hanover and Thornton Stubbins, II, of Minnesota, a grandson, Keevan Michael Malone of Madison; three sisters: Catherine Coleman of Wall, MS, Dannie Lee Johnson of Fort Wayne, IN, and Osie Russell of Cordova, TN; a brother, Odie Malone of Memphis, TN; 9 step grandchildren: Gerel, Jaleesa, Marcus, Thornton, III, Trinity, Tyrell, Belle, Audrey, and Connor; and 1 great-grandchild, Thornton, IV. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Maggie Mae Boxley, Nellie Frazier and Wyomia Malone; and one brother, Kent Malone. The Reverend Robert Bass will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Lytle Funeral Chapel, 423 West Main Street, Madison, Indiana with cremation to follow. Friends may call from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel and from 10:00 AM until time of service on Wednesday, August 12, 2015.
