Anthony D. Crask, age 78, of Madison, Indiana, and the son of the late Otis Thomas and Buena J. (Henderson) Crask, was born on June 2, 1946, in Owensboro, Kentucky. On July 3, 1986, he was united in marriage to the former Leslie Ann Able in Paducah, Kentucky and they enjoyed 35 wonderful years together until her passing. He was a registered nurse at the Madison State Hospital and Central State Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a very kind, caring, and religious man who loved his family dearly and never judged anyone. He loved to paint, read books, and listen to music, especially classical artists and The Beatles. Mr. Crask passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024 at his residence in Madison.
His life will be cherished by his children: Jennifer Crask of North Vernon, Indiana, Ian Hagan of Madison, Bernadette Hagan of Madison, and Eric Hagan of Owenton, Kentucky; his grandchildren: William Johnson, Terry Johnson, Caitlynn Crask, Tyler Grimm, Rachael Grimm, Jonathan Lenhart, and Aaron Lenhart; his great grandchildren: Zakary Johnson, Crystal Johnson, Jonathan Johnson, Owen Johnson, and Terra Johnson; his sisters: Vivian Crask and Evelyn "Faye" Osborne, both of Owensboro, Kentucky; and one brother-in-law: George Wyatt of Newburgh, Indiana. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leslie Ann Crask who passed away on October 8, 2021; his brother: Richard Crask; his sister: Sudie Wyatt; and his son, Jonathan Crask.
Pastor Judy Howard-Stater will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison. Friends and family may visit at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 20, 2024, and from 12:00 PM until the time of the service on Wednesday.
