Beatrice "Bea" (Hash) Rusk

Life story Beatrice "Bea" Rusk, age 90, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Leonard and Margaret (Muster) Hash, was born on February 20, 1930, in Madison. On March 15, 1947, she was united in marriage to Frank William Rusk and they enjoyed fifty-four wonderful years together. She was a dietician for many years at Madison Consolidated Schools, primarily at E.O. Muncie Elementary School. She was a member of the Madison First Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She was an avid fan of Indiana University basketball, the Indianapolis Colts, and all Madison High School athletics, which all came second to her cherished family. Mrs. Rusk passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. Her life will be cherished by her son: Jerry Rusk, and his wife, Cheryl of Jeffersonville, Indiana; her brother: Keith Hash, and his wife, Kay of Whigham, Georgia; her daughter-in-law, Judy Rusk of Camby, Indiana; her grandchildren: David Rusk (Tina), Lori Muncy, Tony Rusk (Jennifer), Kara Jenney (Matt), Kelly Brown (Cordy), Kayce Goley (Matt), Kim Ridener (Jeremy), and Matt Haley (Amanda); 17 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews including, Ron Holcroft and Jeff Holcroft, both of Madison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank who passed away on May 19, 2001; her son, Michael K. "Mike" Rusk, who passed away on January 8, 2008; her sister, Verna Holcroft and her husband, Bill; and her brother, Glenn Hash. Reverend Randy Crutchfield will conduct funeral services at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in Springdale Cemetery in Madison. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Madison First Baptist Church. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes or below.
