Betty Prince Obituary

Betty Mae Prince, 80, of Milton, Kentucky, and daughter of the late Gus and Ola (Murphy) McQueary, was born March 1, 1941, in Lancaster, Kentucky. She was united in marriage to Robert Prince on July 9, 1969 in Bedford, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and was a babysitter for several children. She loved UK basketball, enjoyed games on the computer, watching hummingbirds, shopping and most of all, she was crazy about her grandchildren. Mrs. Prince passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Her life will be cherished by her husband, Robert of 51 years of Milton; her children: Debra Travis, of Milton, and Teresa Smith and her husband, Jody of Milton; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Wayne Hillard, and step-son, Kerry Allen Prince.

Reverend Mike McArter will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Saturday April 10, 2021 at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Kentucky. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, April 9, 2021, and from 11:00 AM until time of service on Saturday.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to American Diabetes Association or Milton United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
