Brenda Sue Carter, age 72, of Dupont, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Donald and Norma (Ake) Kirkey, was born August 29, 1948, in Aberdeen, Indiana. She was a supervisor for the Rising Sun Casino, Greater Cincinnati Airport, and the Southeastern Indiana Employment and Training Center. She was a NASCAR fan and especially liked Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. She enjoyed traveling and going to the beach to watch the ocean and loved her grandchildren dearly. Mrs. Carter passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at her home.
Her life will be cherished by her children: Tammy Banks and her husband, Tony of Dupont, and Robert Bradley and his wife, Kim of Metamora, Indiana; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Dixie Smalls and Linda Winkle; and two brothers: Howard and Alden Kirkey.
According to her wishes, there will not be any services.
