Daniel Charles Mink

Daniel Charles Mink, age 76, of Madison, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, at Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover Indiana. Danny was born December 29, 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Danny is the son of the late Donald and Lois Mink of Osgood. Danny was also preceded in death by his brother, John Mink and his sister, Lois Anne French.

Danny enlisted in the United States Air Force following graduation from Jac-Cen-Del High School in 1964. Danny served during the Vietnam War. He was proud of serving our country during this time and for the opportunity to travel and witness other cultures. Danny enjoyed fishing, reading, and writing. Danny's most cherished time was being a father.

Danny is survived by two daughters Jessica Erin (Mink) Harris, Sugar Hill Georgia, (husband IP Harris and grandson, Irie Zen) and Stephanie Anne (Mink) Bonilla, Texas (husband David and children Celestial, and Solomon). Danny is also survived by his best friend of 47 years, Beth (Jackson) Mink. Danny will be missed by his brothers and sisters, Cynthia Mink of Osgood, Nancy Mink of California, Thomas Mink of California, and Donald Mink of Indianapolis. Danny also is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Per Danny's request, there will not be any services. The family would like to thank Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Madison, Indiana for their guidance in this difficult time. The family would also like to thank the Jewel Place in Madison and Thornton Terrace for their care given to Danny.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like a donation to be made in Danny's name to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Contributions can be made at Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
