Deanna Davis Obituary

Life story Deanna Jean Davis, age 56, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late John D. and W. Jean (Morris) Howell, was born on August 6, 1963, in Madison. She was a graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and Ivy Tech Community College, where she received her Associate's Degree in Business Administration. During high school, she worked as an arts and crafts teacher at the Lide White Boys and Girl's Club, where she was one of the first five women to become a member. On July 1, 1983, she was united in marriage to Mark Douglas Davis at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Madison. In 2005, she retired from Kroger where she had worked for many years in the office and as a pharmacy technician. Deanna never met a stranger, which was evident by her friendly smile at Kroger over the years. She was a member of the Calvary Full Gospel Church and took great pride in cooking for the care dinners to provide for the less fortunate. She loved cooking, especially holiday dinners, watching cooking shows, dining out, movie theater popcorn, and spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren were her life. Mrs. Davis passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Her life will be cherished by her children: Jocko Davis, Dalton Davis and his fiance, Olivia Watson, and Amy Davis, all of Madison; her brothers: Sam Cole and his wife, Yoly of Elk Grove, California, John Cole and his wife, Jill of Franklin, Indiana, Tom Cole and his wife, Sharon of Delaware, Ohio, and Dan Cole of Madison; her sister-in-law: Melody Cole of Madison; her grandchildren: Hannah Marie Vasquez, Bryton Smith, Aubry Davis, and Aubriella Doyle; her great grandchild: Natalie Rose Spry; fourteen nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
