Deborah Faye Benkart was the loving youngest sister to her siblings, Adriaan Benkart (Woodridge, IL) and Lisa Spears (Madison, IN). She was the daughter of Patricia Benkart (Madison, IN) and the late Arthur D. Benkart (Lower Burrell, PA). She was born on July 21, 1977 in Washington D.C.. Her family moved to Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania in 1978 after her father retired from the U.S. Navy. She went to high school at Burrell High in Lower Burrell, PA where she loved to play baskeball and enjoyed the company of her many friends. During her high school summers she enjoyed going to the beach at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she was an avid swimmer. She graduated from Burrell High School in 1996. After High School, she went on to study at the Newport Business School in New Kensington, Pennsylvania while working the drive through at Burger King in Lower Burrell.
Debbie was a talented drawer and loved to make arts and crafts. She loved animals of all kinds. She sheltered and cared for many Rabbits and Cats over the years. She was a deeply spiritual person who devoted her life to the Lord and wrote many spiritual poems. She was always a sweet, social, and caring person that always helped those in need without judgement or question.
She will be greatly missed by her big brother, Adriaan Benkart and her sister, Lisa Benkart-Spears, as well as her sister-in-law, Olga Benkart, her nephew, Alexander Benkart, and her niece, Amanda Spears Riordan and her husband, Josh Riordan and their family.
Friends and family will be welcome for visitation from Noon to 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2021 at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison's Hilltop.
