Debra Anne Sowers, age 59, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of Donald and Rosilda (Bourassa) Mikesell, was born on December 29, 1962, in Fall River, Massachusetts. She graduated from Madison Consolidated High School. She was united in matrimony to Anthony Sowers in 1992 in Madison, Indiana. She was manager of Kentucky Fried Chicken for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family, fishing and NASCAR. Mrs. Sowers passed away on November 15, 2022 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus, Indiana. Her life will be cherished by her husband, Anthony of Madison; her children: Justin (Katie) Sowers, of Dupont, Timothy (Heather Wooten) Sowers, of Madison, Rosalyn Sowers, of Madison, and Breanna Sowers, of Madison; her sister: Theresa (Mike) Jines, of Dupont; her brothers: Donald (Joan) Mikesell, of Madison, Roland Mikesell, of Madison, Lawrence (Kelly) Mikesell, of Madison, Marc (Tiffany) Mikesell, of Elkhart, and Glenn Mikesell, of Dupont; her grandchildren: Waylon, Bryer, Kaisleigh, Hudson, Braydon and Bryson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosilda Mikesell. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2022 at Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, November 17, 2022, and from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Friday.
