Delfino Pérez-Sotero, 48, de Sanders, Kentucky,  hijo de Toribio Pérez y Guadalupe Sotero Francisco, nació el 14 de marzo de 1977 en la Ciudad de México, México. Asistió al Instituto Bíblico Bautista Hispano en Louisville, Kentucky. El 26 de noviembre de 2011, se casó  con Imelda Pérez-Zarate, con quien compartió catorce  años maravillosos.  Por muchos años, trabajó en Gypsum Express, trabajando muy duro con amor alo que hacia, siempre agradecido por un trabajo. Delfino era miembro de la Iglesia Bautista Shalom en Madison y siempre compartía la palabra de Cristo. En su tiempo libre, disfrutaba  la cocina mexicana, el fútbol y pasaba tiempo con sus amigos y su familia. Delfino falleció el miércoles 7 de enero de 2026 en Baptist Health La Grange en La Grange, Kentucky, con su querida familia a su lado. 

Le sobreviven su espasa, Imelda Perez, de Sanders; sus hijos: Emanuel Jeshua Pérez, de Evansville, Indiana, Genesis Dayami Pérez, de La Grange, y Eli Delfino Pérez, de La Grange; su madre, Guadalupe Sotero Francisco; y su hermano, Francisco Pérez Sotero. Le precedió en la muerte su padre, Toribio Pérez.

Llerena oficiará los servicios fúnebres a las 4:00 por la tarde,  domingo, el 11 de enero de 2026 en la funeraria Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Capilla Vail, ubicada en 117 Holt Drive, Madison. Familia  y amigos pueden visitar la funeraria Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Capilla Vail, desde las dos de la tarde. hasta la hora del servicio el domingo. 

 

Delfino Perez-Sotero, age 48, of Sanders, Kentucky, and the son of Toribio Perez and Guadalupe (Sotero) Francisco, was born on March 14, 1977, in Mexico City, Mexico. He attended the Instituto Biblico Bautista Hispano in Louisville, Kentucky. On November 26, 2011, he was united in marriage to Imelda Perez-Zarate and they enjoyed fourteen wonderful years together. For many years, he worked at Gypsum Express where he was always grateful for the job he had. Delfino was a member of the Iglesia Bavtista Shalom in Madison and always spoke of Christ to those around him. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking Mexican food, soccer, and spending time with his friends and family. Delfino passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Baptist Health La Grange in La Grange, Kentucky, with his loving family by his side.

His life will be cherished by his wife, Imelda Perez of Sanders; his children: Emanuel Jeshua Perez of Evansville, Indiana, Genesis Dayami Perez of La Grange, and Eli Delfino Perez of La Grange; his mother: Guadalupe Sotero Francisco, and his brothers: Francisco Perez Sotero. He was preceded in death by his father, Toribio Perez.

Pastor Francisco V. Llerena will conduct funeral services at 4:00 PM Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison. Friends and family may visit at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 2:00 PM until the time of the service on Sunday.
