Dena B. Perry

Life story Dena Bell Perry, age 75, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana. Born February 19, 1943 in Burchville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Nora (Gilbert) Skirvin. Dena retired in 2006 as a cook from the King's Daughters' Hospital and then cooked part time at the American Legion. She worked at J.C. Penny's earlier in her life. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved reading books, watching UK basketball, going to the boat, and playing cards. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Shannon Perry of Madison; her sons: Shane Burress of Madison, and Mart Perry of Madison; her brothers: Clifford Brinson of Madison, Gayle Brinson of Madison, Randy Brinson of Madison; Darryl Brinson of Madison; her sister, Debbie Colbert of Madison; her grandchildren: Michael Shane Burris, II, Matthew Shane Burris, Erin Burress, Jacoby Scholl, Jalen Peters, Lennon Perry, Kota Perry, Amari Perry, Marli Perry; and her great grandchildren: Zaden, Vada, and Jaxon; and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Greg Robbins; and her brother, Rick Skirvin. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel with interment to follow. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, March 16, 2018, and from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
