Life story Dixie A. Goins, age 72, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. Born December 29, 1945 in Madison, she was the daughter of Clyde W. and Wanda (Welch) Kidd. She obtained a degree as a paralegal and worked for Boulder Shell and Madison Precision. She enjoyed playing bingo, feeding and watching her birds and squirrels, playing cards, and cooking holiday feasts for her family and their friends. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Tina McDowell of Madison; her son, Harvey Trey Goins of Florida; her aunt, who was like a mother, Juanita Jumps of Madison; her grandsons: David Curtis, Jr. and his wife, Valerie of Illinois, Troy Curtis and his wife, Diana of Illinois, and Jacob Curtis of Madison; her great grandchildren: Emma, Mary Kay, Alex, and Adia; her guardian angel, Sandy Allen and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, Mabel Cole Kidd; her brother, Clyde "Sonny" Kidd; and her grandson, Quinton Tyler Smith. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison, Indiana with interment to follow in Bayless Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.
