Earnest E. Weaver

Life story Earnest E. Weaver, age 70, of Hanover, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana. He was born on March 19, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of George and Mary (Hahn) Weaver. Mr. Weaver served in the United States Army from October 1, 1964 to July 29, 1975, achieving the rank of Sergeant. In October 1979, he married JoAnn Imling in Dallas, Texas. They moved to Jefferson County in 2001 when he began working as the dietary director for the Waters of Clifty Falls. He retired as the dietary director at the Thornton Terrace Health Campus in October 2015. He was a member of the Jefferson Post #9, American Legion, Madison, and enjoyed cooking, watching football and collecting replicas of famous lighthouses from around the world. He will be sadly missed by one son, Doug Weaver and his wife, Virginia of Hanover; one daughter, Malea McClean and her husband, Chris of Virginia Beach, Virginia; one brother, George Weaver and his wife, Kathy, of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren: Sarah, Zackary, and William McClean. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Reverend Frank McGee will conduct funeral services at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel, 423 W. Main Street, Madison, Indiana. Interment will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown, Indiana. Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. The family request memorial contributions be made to the Earnest E. Weaver Memorial Fund.
