Life story Alan Rains, age 63, of Deputy, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana. Born February 21, 1954 in Saint Louis, Missouri, he was the son of Edmond and Marjorie (Redelman) Rains. He graduated from New Castle High School. In 2006, he retired as an operator for Indiana Automotive Fastener in Greenfield, Indiana and was a self employed plumber. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Emma Tinch (Travis) of Deputy; his sons: Tommy Rains of Knightstown, IN and Shane New of Bargersville, IN; and five grandchildren.
