Life story Elvis Wayne Kirby, age 40, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 at his residence in Madison. Born June 30, 1976 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of Edward Kirby and Bonnie Short. He graduated from Madison Consolidated High School in 1994. He always had a loving spirit and loved everyone he met. He loved spending time with family and friends and girlfriend, Molly. He was baptized and attended New Hope Baptist Church. Elvis enjoyed the Kentucky Wildcats, Madison Regatta and competing in the Special Olympics. He will be sadly missed by his son, Lucas Kirby of South Carolina; his sister, Heather Short of Madison; his uncle, Rex Short of Madison; his aunt, Della Callis of Madison; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother; his uncles: Neville, Stewart, and James Short, and his aunts: Carol Short and Jenny Short, and one cousin, Monica Edwards. The funeral service will be at 6:00 PM Friday, June 23, 2017 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel in Downtown Madison. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Friday.
