Freda Mae Dunn, age 79, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Harry Thomas and Bertha Lee (Cassidy) Dunn, was born on August 4, 1941, in Indiana. She was a homemaker for most of her life but had also worked at the sewing factory. In her spare time, she was an award-winning and published photographer and was involved in politics. She was a member of the Salvation Army where she served as a soldier and received several awards. Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. Ms. Dunn passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Her life will be cherished by her daughter, Lisa Denise Bisgaard and her husband, Bob, of Dayton, Ohio; her brother: Jerry Dunn, of Madison; eight grandchildren: Randy, Jessica, Christopher, Erika, Jason, Heather, Chrissy, and Carl; and fifteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons: Daniel Noel and Tommy Joe Noel; her sister: Mary Ann Parker; and her brothers: Donald Dunn, Leonard Dunn, Ralph Dunn, Merle Dunn, and Earl Forrester.
Capt. Stephanie Hartley will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 12:00 PM until the time of the service on Saturday.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army of Madison. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
