Georgia Carol (Alexander) Westrick

Georgia Carol Westrick, age 88, of Milton, Kentucky, and the daughter of the late Herbert and Bessie (McCellan) Alexander, was born on Monday, March 30, 1936, in Trimble County, Kentucky. On July 11, 1953, she was united in marriage to S.G. Westrick in Madison, Indiana. For 26 years, she was a top stitcher at the U.S. Shoe Factory. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Carrollton and Madison. In her spare time, she enjoyed going on motorcycle rides with her husband, crocheting especially dollies, reading romance novels, and dancing. Mrs. Westrick passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 at her residence in Milton.

Her life will be cherished by her children: Esstil Lee Westrick and his wife, Carol of Milton, Sharon McAtee and her husband, Steve of Milton, Clifton Webb "C.W." Westrick, of Milton, and Dorothy Regina Westrick, of Carrollton, Kentucky; her sisters: Flora Amy Gibson, of Worthville, Kentucky and Virginia Hensley, of Carrollton; five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and two great great granddaughters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, S.G. Westrick who passed away on October 11, 2021; two infant daughters: Martha and Mary; her siblings: David, Alfred, Dorothy, Frances, Katherine, and her daughter-in-law: Cynthia "Cindy" Westrick.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Milton, Kentucky. Friends and family may visit at Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, July 29, 2024 and from 2:00 PM until the time of the service on Tuesday.
