Helen Lee (Mullikin) Augustin

Life story Helen Lee (Mullikin) Augustin, age 78, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. Born August 1, 1939 in Jennings County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Myron and Elva Mae (Barriger) Mullikin. She was a graduate of Paris Crossing High School. On April 28, 1962, she was united in marriage to Joseph Augustin in Madison. A homemaker, she was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church and Clifty Swingers Square Dance Club and was a 4-H leader. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and taking care of her animals. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Joseph Augustin of Madison; her daughters: Nancy Fitton and her husband, Paul of Madison and Linda Augustin of Madison; her sons: Roy Augustin and his wife, Billie Jean of Madison and James Augustin and his wife, Amy of Hanover, Indiana; her sister, Betty Ritchie and her husband, Carl of North Vernon; her brothers: Roderick Mullikin and his wife, Lupe of North Vernon and Billy Joe Mullikin and his wife, Linda of North Vernon; and her grandchildren: Nyctasia Fitton, Jesse Fitton, and Devin Augustin; She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons: Charles Augustin and Paul Augustin; and her brother, Raymond Mullikin. Reverend Christopher Craig will conduct The Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am Thursday, January 18, 2018, at the Saint Patrick's Catholic Church with interment to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The rosary will be prayed at 7:30 pm Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Lytle Funeral Homes, Vail Chapel. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison Hilltop from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, and from 9:30 am to 10:30 am Thursday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Steeple for the People of Prince of Peace Catholic Church or Friends of Shawe and Pope John Schools.
