Isabelle Barnes

Life story Isabelle Barnes, age 88, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Carl Lunsford and Rachel (Trapp) Bott, was born on January 21, 1932, in North Vernon, Indiana. She was united in marriage to Jasper William Barnes and was a homemaker throughout her life. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church and was devoted to praying the rosary regularly. She enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her family especially going out to eat, having a picnic, or spending time at the drive-in together. Mrs. Barnes passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. Her life will be cherished by her son: William Barnes, of Madison and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper; her brothers: Carl and Richard Lunsford; and her sister, Naomi Patterson. Reverend Christopher Craig will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 PM Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 413 E. Second Street, Madison with interment to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison's Hilltop from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Friday, August 7, 2020. The Rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM Friday, August 7, 2020 at the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
