James F. Lucas, Jr.

James F. Lucas, Jr., age 37, of Madison, Indiana, and the son of James F. and Barbara (Huston) Lucas, was born on January 2, 1985, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was raised in Worthville, Kentucky and was currently a heavy equipment operator at Posco in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was a people person who could talk to anyone. In his spare time, he loved being outdoors and was an avid University of Kentucky sports fan. Mr. Lucas passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at his residence in Madison.

His life will be cherished by his children: Jalyn, James III, and Jodee, all of Louisville, and Shelby of La Grange, Kentucky; his mother, Barbara Lucas of Madison; his sister: Jennifer Terrell of Madison; his granddaughter, Cheyenne Rae Taylor; and his half sisters: Sonya Hearne, Kim Southworth, Tracy Morrison, and Marca Long, all of Madison. He was preceded in death by his father.

A private family gathering will be held prior to burial at Worthville Cemetery in Worthville, Kentucky.
