Jane A (Knoebel) McClinton, age 90, passed away peacefully on October 5th at the Sam Swope Center on the Masonic Home Campus. Jane was the widow of Donald McClinton, and was predeceased by her parents John & Virginia Knoebel and an infant brother of Madison, Indiana.
Jane was a graduate of Butler University, Indianapolis IN, and is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She was also a member of the The Fillies and the St. Al Aces.
Jane is survived by her daughter Cathy Folk (Dr. John) of Powell Ohio, and her son Scott (Denise) of Prospect Kentucky, grandchildren Gretchen (Jacob) Piper, Matthew McClinton, John M Folk (Kyle Richards), Andrew (Lindsay) McClinton, Sarah (Michael) Lindell, and Adam McClinton (Lauren Gubosh), as well as eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by her twin brother Joe (Leeodda) and John (Lynda) Knoebel of Madison Indiana, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday October 11th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road in St. Matthews, Kentucky. A funeral mass will take place at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 12th at 10:00 am. Jane will be buried next to Don in the family plot in Madison, Indiana.
