Jason Phillip Cosby

Life story Jason Phillip Cosby, age 44, of Madison, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born March 8, 1974 in Madison, he was the son of Phillip D. Cosby and Connie S. (Humphrey) Crawford. Mr. Cosby was a 1993 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and had lived in Orlando, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Germany, California, and Tennessee. He worked as a truck driver, bartender, and a subcontractor installing modular office furniture for many years in Orlando. His dream was to become a chef and he enjoyed lifting weights and sports, having played for the Madison High School team. He especially loved motorcycles and his favorite was his customized GXR 1000. He will be sadly missed by his father of Schertz, Texas; his mother and step father, Kevin Crawford of Orlando; three brothers: Kyle Crawford of Orlando, and Bobby Cosby and DeShawn Cosby, both of Schertz; one sister, Conner Crawford of Austin, Texas; his paternal grandparents: Chuck and Barbara Cosby of Madison; his maternal grandmother, Jeanette Humphrey of Madison; and several aunts and uncles: Jeanie Watson, Georgie Humphrey, Penny Humphrey, Mark Humphrey, Tina Cosby, Gwen Smith, Chuck Cosby and Donald Cosby. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George Humphrey; and one uncle, Greg Humphrey. There will be a memorial gathering from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, on Madison's Hilltop.
