Jean E. (Myers) Uglow

Mrs. Jean E. Uglow, age 88, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Ralston and Clara (Rhines) Myers, was born on May 5, 1935, in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Johnsonburg High School and attended college for two years in Dubois, Pennsylvania. She was united in marriage to Charles Uglow on July 3, 1971 in Johnsonburg. She retired, after 13 years, from C & J Restaurant in Ridgeway, Pennsylvania, and also worked at a bank in Johnsonburg for 18 years as a teller and bookkeeper.

She was a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries in Randolph, New York and loved flowers, cats, football-especially the Pittsburg Steelers and family gatherings. Mrs. Uglow passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Hickory Creek at Madison.

Her life will be cherished by her daughter: Mary (Greg) Myers, of Madison; her grandchildren: Cassandra Trueblood and Wade (Krista Short) Felt; her great-grandchildren: Haley, Brady, Nathaniel, Zander, Izzy, Ike and Zane and her close friend: Melody Adams of Randolph, New York.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband.

According to her wishes, there will be no services.
