Jerry Wayne Gordon

Life story Mr. Jerry Wayne Gordon, age 69, of Beech Grove, Indiana, formerly of Madison, Indiana and the son of Hiram Gordon and Alice (McConnell) Pope, was born on October 6, 1951, in Madison, Indiana. He attended Arsenal Technical High School and then served in the United States Army. In 1997, he retired from Imperial Irrigation District in Indio, California. Mr. Gordon passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at St. Franciscan Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. His life will be cherished by his children: Mikeal Gordon (MiChelle), of Indianapolis, Tara Hefner (Darin), of California, Lee Gordon (Sara), of Columbus, Indiana, Dawn Michael (Ken), of Indianapolis, Pamela Maloof, of Las Vegas, Nevada; his mother: Alice Pope, of Okeechobee, Florida; his sister: Faye Barger(Jesse), of Indianapolis; his twin brother: Terry Gordon (Ruth), of Okeechobee, Florida; his 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father; step-mother, Joyce Gordon; step-father, Phillip Pope; sister, Suzanne Denny; and a brother, Kenny Gordon. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 8, 2021, and from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.
