Joan P. (Mastej) Cap

Life story Joan P. Cap, age 91, of Madison, formerly of Hegewisch, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. Born October 14, 1925 in Hammond, Indiana, she was the daughter of Jacob and Frances Bil Mastej. Mrs. Cap was a homemaker. She was married to Joseph Cap, Jr., who preceded her in death in 1992. She enjoyed Polish music and dancing. Her memberships included the Polish Community PRCUA. She will be sadly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Ted Reilmann of Madison; one son, Richard Cap of Grant Park, Illinois; two grandchildren: Christopher Reilmann and his wife, Lora, and Andrew Reilmann and his wife, Shauna; and four great grandchildren: Mira, Orley, Emma and Sophia Reilmann. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters. PLEASE NOTE ALL TIMES ARE CENTRAL STANDARD TIME. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home, 540 Dixie Highway (at Joe Orr Road), Chicago Heights, Illinois 60411.
