Jon Michael Schoolcraft, Sr.

Mr. Jon Michael Schoolcraft, Sr. age 79, of Madison, Indiana, and the son of the late Dormond R. and Clara E. (Gibbs) Schoolcraft, was born on April 16, 1942, in Madison, Indiana. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and served his country in the United States Marines. On July 19, 2005, he was united in marriage to the former Marsha E. Daniels in Madison. For many years, he worked as an assistant at Vail-Holt Funeral Home in Madison. Mr. Schoolcraft passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison.

His life will be cherished by his wife of 16 years, Marsha of Madison; his children: Michael Schoolcraft, Jr. of Madison, Jeremy Garcia of North Dakota, and Robbie Ashby of Madison; his sister: Judy Sharpe of Jeffersonville, Indiana; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Schoolcraft; his brother, Robert Schoolcraft; and his grandson: Michael Schoolcraft, III.
