Joyce Dale (Robertson) Requet

Life story Joyce Dale Requet, age 76, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the River Terrace Health Campus in Madison. Born December 7, 1941 in Perry Park, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Leonard Dale and Ruth Viola (Montfort) Robertson. She attended Sanders Grade School and was a 1958 graduate of the Withrow High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. On February 27, 1965, she was united in marriage to Charles Requet, Jr. at Saint Michael's Catholic Church in Madison. Early in life, she enjoyed watching her son play sports and taking care of kids. She was a homemaker and a former employee of The Madison Courier. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church and often volunteered in the Prince of Peace Cafeteria and Booster Club, with the Boy Scout Troop 721, and the Prince of Peace Choir. She enjoyed gardening, growing cacti, playing with her cats, fishing, and going to "the show" at the Ohio Theatre. She will be sadly missed by her son, Charles Requet III and his wife, Elizabeth Auxier of Madison; her sister, Maude Banks of Columbus, Indiana; her nieces and nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Requet, Jr. who passed away on February 8, 2016; four sisters, and five brothers. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Christopher Craig at 12:00 PM Friday, August 3, 2018 at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, 305 W. State Street, Madison Hilltop with interment to follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 2, 2018, and from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Friends of the Ohio Theatre, P.O.
