Juanita LaVerne (Pettit) Casey

Mrs. Juanita LaVerne Casey, age 83, of North Vernon, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Lewis and Nettie (Aldridge) Pettit, was born on September 29, 1939, in Switzerland County, Indiana. She was a 1957 graduate of Central High School in Madison, Indiana. On January 31, 1991, she was united in marriage to Steven Casey. She was a Clerk Typist at the Muscatatuck Development Center. Throughout her life, she was a member of Hayden Baptist Church and North Madison Baptist Church. Mrs. Casey passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the Majestic Care of North Vernon.

Her life will be cherished by her husband of 31 years, Steven of North Vernon; her brother: Ed Pettit, of Dayton, Ohio; and several cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Kevin Pettit.

Pastor Frank McGee will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday. Private interment will take place in Macedonia Cemetery in Madison.
