Junior Lee Grimes

Life story Junior Lee Grimes, age 86, of Madison, Indiana, and son of the late Logan and Lena (Hart) Grimes, was born on June 5, 1933, in Madison. On January 1, 1951, Mr. Grimes enlisted in the United States Air Force during which he served in the Korean Conflict. He worked at Campbells Restaurant, the Madison Post Office and Sandstone Industries. Mr. Grimes passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Majestic Care in North Vernon, Indiana. His life will be cherished by his Point of Grace Church family and many friends, including his caregivers, Roger and Myrtle Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and his foster parents, who raised him, Edgar and Elizabeth Holwager. Reverend Adam Faulkner will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in Sharon Hill Cemetery in Hanover, Indiana. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 3, 2019.
