Kathleen Arnold

Life story Kathleen Slocum Arnold, age 80, of LaGrange, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born June 7, 1937 in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Irvin A. and Billie M. (Cobb) Slocum. Kathleen was a cosmetologist and worked many years in Louisville at the Kentucky Pen Shop. She loved decorating, cooking, baking and animals. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Barbara Barker of Louisville; her son, Donald Barker, Jr. of La Grange, KY; her companion, John C. Doty of Bedford; two grandchildren: Gia Baker of Brooklyn, NY and Lance Barker and his wife, Emily of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her father, Irvin Slocum; her mother, Billie Norrie, her sister, Peggy Seltzer; her daughter in law, Liz and her son in law, Jimmy Gardner. The Reverend Ferrill Davis will conduct Funeral Services at 2:00 PM Friday, November 17, 2017 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Wood Oakley Chapel, 37 High Street, Milton, KY with interment to follow in the Owenton Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Wood Oakley Chapel from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday.
