Mrs. Leslie Ann Crask, age 69, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late John and Bernice (Moore) Able, was born on September 29, 1952, in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was united in marriage to Anthony D. "Tony" Crask on July 3, 1986 in Paducah, Kentucky. She was a nurse and retired from the Madison State Hospital after 28 years. She also worked at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah and Davis County Hospital in Owensboro. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, where she volunteered at the catholic school and had been a member of the Nurses Association. She enjoyed painting flowers and jewelry boxes, crochet, crafts, listening to music, reading, Psalms, and was an avid flower gardener. Mrs. Crask passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.
Her life will be cherished by her husband, Tony of 35 years of Madison; her children: Bernadette Hagan, of Madison, Ian Hagan, of Madison, Eric Hagan, of Owenton, Kentucky; and Jennifer Crask, of North Vernon, Indiana; her sister: Bernadette "Gabby" Roby, of Whitesville, Kentucky; her brother: John Able, of Owensboro; her five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Father Christopher Craig will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Thursday October 14, 2021 at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 13, 2021, and from 12:00 noon until the time of the service on Thursday.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Labre Indian School. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
