Linda S. Goins

Mrs. Linda S. Goins, age 72, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Marion, Sr. and Helen Nowlin, was born on June 17, 1949, in Kentucky. She attained a cosmetology degree and worked in several local shops and was a housekeeper. She was united in marriage to Benjamin "Buck" Goins. Three years ago, she became a member of the Manville Christian Church and loved to sew, her dogs and spending time with her grandkids. Mrs.Goins passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Hickory Creek at Madison.

Her life will be cherished by her children: Marchita "Marty" McClure, of Madison, Mark Goins, of Dupont; Benna Umbstead, of Madison, Greg Goins, and James Allen Goins, of Madison her sister: Vickie Copeland, of Madison; her brother: Marion Nowlin, Jr., of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandchildren: Jennifer, Matthew, Gregory, Cody, Patrick, Mark, Jr., Elijah, Kelly and Lane. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buck; a son, Marion Webster and a brother, Larry Nowlin.

Darin Ayler will conduct funeral services at 7:00 PM Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Madison's hilltop with private interment to be in Grandview Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, April 28, 2022.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to Madison-Jefferson County Animal Shelter. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
