Louise O. (Peterson) Jackson

Louise O. Jackson, age 87, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Evald and Patricia (Anderson) Peterson, was born on October 18, 1934, in Karlstad, Minnesota. She was one of sixteen brothers and sisters. On November 26, 1955, she was united in marriage to Oakley Jackson. Louise was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church in Madison, where she worked as a teacher in the Christian School for many years and was lovingly called "Mrs. J."

She had an unwavering love for the Lord, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and took every opportunity to spend time with them. Louise left an everlasting legacy of memories for all to carry on. Mrs. Jackson passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Hanover Nursing Center in Hanover, Indiana with her precious Kathie by her bedside.

Her life will be cherished by her daughter: Kathleen Fleek and her husband, Victor of Cox's Creek, Kentucky; five grandchildren: Logan (Kaylee) Fleek of Fort Knox, Kentucky, Taylor Fleek of Lewisville, Texas, Autumn (Zach) Arvin of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, Cassidy Fleek of Cox's Creek and McCoy Fleek of Cox's Creek; two great grandchildren: Jenessi Fleek and Kerrigan Fleek, both of Fort Knox; several siblings, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, many siblings, and her husband of 45 years, Oakley Jackson.

Mr. Victor Fleek will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Grace Baptist Church, 920 Montclair Street, Madison. Friends and family may call at Grace Baptist Church from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday. Private interment will take place in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison, Indiana.
