Margaret Ann (Hall) Hamilton

Mrs. Margaret Ann Hamilton, age 88, of Hanover, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Arthur William and Mary Jane (Luster) Hall, was born on June 21, 1935, in Cloverport, Kentucky. On January 24, 1951, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Leroy Hamilton. Throughout her life, she was a homemaker and a farmer. She was a member of the Madison Moose Lodge and enjoyed bowling. Mrs. Hamilton passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at her residence in Hanover with her family by her side.

Her life will be cherished by her son: Steven Hamilton of Hanover; her grandchildren: Steven Shayne Hamilton of Moore, Oklahoma, Chris Hamilton (Kristen) of Manville, Indiana, Robert Lee of Fort Myers, Florida, and Valarie Anderson (Jamie) of Noblesville, Indiana; several great grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law: Pam Hamilton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her daughter: Linda Jean Lee; her son, Thomas Lee Hamilton; her infant son, Kenneth Leroy Hamilton, Jr.; her sisters: ElMarie Ellis, Dora Fletcher and Donna Faye Avery; her brothers: Junior, Russell, Dwight and Hugh Hamilton.

The Honorable Fred Hoying will conduct graveside services at 12:00 PM Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Canaan Cemetery, with interment to follow.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
