Mark Douglas Davis

Life story Mark Douglas Davis, age 59, of Madison, Indiana, and the son of Alma F. Davis, was born on July 1, 1960, in Madison. He attended Madison High School and served in the United States Army. For 29 years, he owned and operated Triple D Construction. On July 1, 1983, Mark was united in marriage to the former Deanna J. Howell at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Madison. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, puzzles, watching the Bengals, cooking for the holidays and playing tricks on his wife and other friends. He was a member of the Calvary Full Gospel Church and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Davis passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at his residence. His life will be cherished by his wife, Deanna of Madison; his children: Amy Davis, Jocko Dean Davis, and Dalton Daniel Davis (Olivia Watson), all of Madison; his mother, Alma, of Madison; his sister: Linda Renfro (Walter), of Holton, Indiana; his brothers: Donnie Davis and Robert Graves (Mary Lou), both of Madison; his grandchildren: Hannah Marie Vasquez, Bryton Smith, Aubry Davis, and Aubriella Doyle; his great-grandchild, Natalie Rose Spry; and his nieces and nephews: Chris, Bridgett, Tyler, Rack, Jessie, Fred Allen, and Shawna. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Macy Davis; his sister, Carley "Sugar" Carter; his maternal grandparents, Fred and Carli Davis, who helped raise him; and his mother-in-law, Jean Howell. Private funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in Hebron Cemetery in Madison. Friends may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2020. Visitors will have a choice of a brief walk through of the chapel to see and speak to the Davis family from a distance, or the ability to provide registry information and speak to the Davis family from the safety of their car next to our exterior chapel doors.
