Mary Susan Andres, age 67, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late BeeBee Joseph and Mary Alberta (Chandler) Hancock, was born on March 7, 1957, in Seattle, Washington. Shortly after her birth, her family moved to Indiana and she would become a 1975 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. Over forty years ago, she was united in marriage to Larry Andres at the Middlefork Baptist Church. Throughout the years, she worked at Cummins, Grote Industries, and was a cook and waitress at the Railroad Cafe in Dupont, Indiana for over ten years. She was a member of the Dupont Methodist Church, and enjoyed cooking for others, spending time with her grandchildren, going camping and fishing at Lake Monroe, and flower and vegetable gardening. Mary Sue was an amazing woman who was very caring, enjoyed taking care of others, and was always a lot of fun. Mrs. Andres passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison.
Her life will be cherished by her husband, Larry Andres of Madison; her son: PJ Andres, of Dupont; her sister: Patricia Eden of Madison; her brother: Joseph Hancock and his wife, Toni of Cincinnati, Ohio; her nieces: Sara Eden and Kristy Eden, both of Madison; her nephews: Jason Eden of Deputy, Indiana, Beebe Brooks of Madison, Bradly Hancock of Kettering, Ohio, and John Hancock of Columbus, Ohio; and five grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Gregory Hancock.
Cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled at this time.
