Mary Edna (Raker) Green

Mary E. Green, age 95, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at the Norton King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. She was born on September 6, 1926 to John and Mabel (Knox) Raker.

She will be sadly missed by her very special former daughter-in-law, Tammy McCord Carnes and her husband, Cliff, of Madison; one sister, Patricia Jo Florence and her husband David of Phoenix, Arizona; four special grandchildren: Joshua Green, Heather Rogers and her husband Aaron, Laura Gabbard and her husband David, and Jennah Vanderpohl and her husband Joey; her granddaughter-in-law, Indie Green; six precious great grandchildren: Brennan Green, Elizabeth Green, Bradley Green, Jr., Sawyer Rogers, Finnegan Gabbard, Joey Reed Vanderpohl, and Jacob Grant Vanderpohl; and three sons: Ray Green, David Green and Robbie Green.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son, Timmy Green; two brothers: John B. Raker and Chester L. Raker; and her grandson, David Bradley Green, Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Bob Hicks at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison, with interment to follow in Moffett Cemetery, Milton, Kentucky. Friends and family may call from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Labre Indian School. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
