Life story Mrs. Mary K. "Kate" Hacker, 85, of Madison, Indiana, and daughter of the late Everett and Laura (Brandenburg) Konkle, was born October 24, 1934, in Madison. She retired from work in 1996 as an LPN for King's Daughters' Hospital and had worked earlier in her life at US Shoe, Randalls in Vevay, and Jefferson County Courthouse. She was a member of the Manville Christian Church, former board member of the Macedonia Baptist Church, and loved animals, being on the farm and her church. Mrs. Hacker passed away September 9, 2020, at her residence. Her life will be cherished by her children: C.A. Keeton, of Milton, KY, Rick Keeton, of Falmouth, KY, Wayne Keeton, of Madison, Bobby Hacker, of Madison, and Candy Willett, of Bedford, KY; her sister: Billie Grimm, of North Vernon; her brother: Paul Konkle, of Madison; her grandchildren: Chris, Justin, Melissa, Jeremy, Kelsey, and Maggie; and several great-grandchildren. Reverend George Severn will conduct Funeral Service at 1:00 PM Sunday, September 13, 2020, at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Madison, Indiana. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, September 12, 2020, and from 12 Noon until time of service on Sunday.
