Norma Fae (Kelley) Proctor passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, with her loving husband by her side. She was born on August 26, 1958. Norma was united in marriage to William Ovid "Jr" Proctor on April 21, 1978.
Norma loved been around horses, having been raised up around thoroughbreds most of her life. She would help exercise by riding them and walking them. She loved raising her dogs and cats. Her dogs were her babies. She loved to crochet Afghan blankets and making dollies for people. She enjoyed watching scary and sci-fi movies. Norma enjoyed reading mystery books, spending free time at the library checking out books. Most of all she loved going to church, she was a member of the Crossroad Church in Bedford.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Forest Ray Kelley and Nellie Jean (O'banion) Kelley.
She is survived by her husband, William Ovid "Jr" Proctor, being happily married over 46 years. The memory of Norma will be forever cherished in all who knew her including her brother, Danny Ray Kelley, and a loving extended family: Teresa Ray Proctor and Ruby (Eugene) Scott, Jay Proctor, Velma (Eddie) Bladen, Robert (Jeaninne) Proctor. Loving daughter to Mable Proctor, Laverne Kelley and loving aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Pastor Larry Franklin will conduct memorial services at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the Crossroads Church, 4835 Highway 421 North, Bedford, Kentucky. Family and friends are invited to gather from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
