Pamela Jean (Meadows) Jones

Life story Pamela Jean Jones, age 53, of Canaan, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born July 19, 1964 in Carrollton, Kentucky, she was the daughter of James R. and Loretta Joyce (Kinman) Meadows Backus. Mrs. Jones formerly worked as a CNA at the Hanover Health and Rehab Center, and at the former U.S. Shoe and Arby's Restaurant in Madison. She was united in marriage to William F. Jones in 1993 in Carrollton, Kentucky. She will be sadly missed by her husband, William "Bill" Jones; one daughter, Tabitha Jean Morgan, Louisville, Kentucky; two brothers: James David Meadows and his wife, Wanda, and Billy Jo Meadows, all of Canaan; her mother, Loretta Joyce Backus of Canaan; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Debra Diane Carrico. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
