Robert W. Chase

Life story Robert W. Chase, age 84, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. Born September 22, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son Harold M. and Frances M. (Atwood) Chase. Mr. Chase was a graduate of the University of Illinois and served his country in the United States Air Force. He moved to Madison in the 1980's and retired as an industrial designer from Grote Industries after several years of service. He enjoyed reading, golfing and boating, and was a member of the Louisville Power and Sail Squadron. He married Jean Hughes in 1954. He will be sadly missed by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Tammy Chase of Phoenix, Arizona, and two granddogs, Alf and Paws. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife in 2013. Private inurnment was held at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison, was in charge of the arrangements.
