Ruth Ann (Estes) McFarland

Life story Ruth Ann McFarland, age 73, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, Indiana. Born April 9, 1944 in Madison, she was the daughter of John and Ruth McDowell Estes. She graduated from Central High School and retired from U.S. Shoe Corporation when it closed.. She enjoyed Bingo, needlepoint and watching The Young and Restless. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Lisa Gambrell of Madison, and Brandy Brashears of Madison; her son, Jeff Brashears of Madison; three sisters: Sue Estes, Mary Rowlett and Chevel Estes, all of Madison; three brothers: Johnny Estes, Ralph Estes and Jim Estes of Madison; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and ex-husband, Newton McFarland. The family will hold private services at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service.
