Sharon Lee Lloyd, age 75, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Opal Green, was born on July 27, 1950, in Kentucky. After graduating from high school, she pursued her passion for art by attending classes at the Indiana University Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis. She later made the selfless decision to return home to care for her mother during the final stage of her life. Sharon went on to work at Royer Corporation and later at Grote Industries, Inc., where she dedicated many years before retiring. She was a faithful member of West Madison Faith Community Church, attending with her family. A gifted and passionate artist, she created beautiful paintings and drawings, with a special love for landscapes and horses. She also enjoyed camping along the river with her dear friends. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family, which brought her the greatest joy. Ms. Lloyd passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 at her residence in Madison.
Her life will be cherished by her sons: Tim Cox and his wife, Gia of Madison, and Tony Cox and his wife, Amanda of Texas; her grandchildren: Savanna McDowell, Ryan Cox, Jewell Foster, Gia Elizabeth Cox, Rebecca Foster, Terricia Cox, Amber Manczuk, and Zoe Cox; and two great grandchildren.
